Socialization

Elderly Care

As we get older, it’s important for us to build and maintain relationships. In fact, a Harvard School of Health study suggests “strong social ties, through friends, family and community groups, can preserve our brain health as we age.”

At New Generations, we promote socialization as part of our adult day care. We know it can be tough for elderly individuals to find new ways to socialize, so we’re happy to provide them. Whether your loved one is naturally social or more on the shy side, they’ll get the chance to interact with others and form strong friendships.

Activities, Games, and More

In each of our personalized elderly care programs, our members get the opportunity to meet new people through a wide variety of activities that we plan. We host brain-stimulating games, go on exciting field trips, get creative with arts and crafts, and more. With so many activities, there’s something for everyone!

We believe that staying active is the key to a healthy older lifestyle and instead of simply giving your loved ones a place to go during the day, our elderly care program encourages them to step out of their comfort zone and try something new. We look forward to meeting new people and building strong relationships and we work hard to offer our members the same opportunities.
