In both our elderly day care program and special needs day care program, we take a compassionate approach to caring for your loved one. We start by learning more about you, your loved one, and your situation so that we can understand exactly how to best care for your loved one. We’ll also discuss needs such as medications, dietary restrictions, medical attention, personality, and mental and/or physical issues as well. After this process, we will tailor our program around your loved ones needs.
We know it may be difficult for your loved one to change their lifestyle, and that’s why our elderly care program focuses on improving and enhancing their quality of life. Our mission is to offer the best in health care while giving your loved one a chance to improve their mental and emotional well-being while still maintaining their independence. Another key component is socialization, wherein individuals benefit from the social touch of other humans. Our team of licensed nurses and trained professional caregivers are available for medical care, support, companionship, and more while our daily activities and events are designed to promote social skills and enhance your loved one’s overall experience.
At New Generations, our special needs program called Gary’s Gang has become a state-wide sensation for special needs individuals with all levels of disabilities. Our program is open to individuals 18 years and older with a variety of disabilities including autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, hearing impairment, and more. We know that each special needs individual is unique and requires his/her own level of care and attention, which is why we customize our program to fit the needs of your loved one. At New Generations, we focus on building essential skills such as socialization, self-confidence, communication, and understanding while offering support and encouragement – all while having fun!
We would love to talk with you further about how our programs can benefit both you and your loved one. Contact us today to learn more.
