Our Facility
Q: Where are you located?
A: We have 2 locations in Florence and Marion, South Carolina. Our first location is at 2111 W. Jody Road in Florence, SC 29501. Our second location is at 300 Supply Road in Marion, SC 29571.
Q: What are your hours?
A: All 3 facilities are open from 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Monday through Friday. We are also open on Labor Day, July 4th, and Memorial Day. We are closed on Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, and New Year’s Day.
Q: Do you offer tours?
A: Yes, we gladly offer tours of our facilities in both Florence and Marion. If you are interested in visiting, please call us at 1-843-773-2781 or fill out our
Contact Form. We will get to know your loved one and discuss their needs. In addition, we also offer a FREE DAY, so your loved one can become even more familiar with our facility.
Q: Do you offer transportation?
A: Yes, we offer transportation to our facilities. Our transportation manager will work with each family in order to arrange pick-up times and delivery times that accommodate their loved one.
Q: Is daily attendance required?
A: No, a person may attend as often as they choose.
Q: Can we change the days of attendance if necessary?
A: If you are paying privately, you will be able to change the days of attendance at any time. If Medicaid is your payment source, you will need to contact your case manager.
Adult Day Care Services
At New Generations, our elderly care programs are created to meet each individual’s needs and desires. Our goal is to improve your loved one’s overall well-being through socialization, companionship, medication assistance, and more. Q: What is adult day care?
A: It is a program that includes planned health activities for people who are 18 years or older. Typically they require support and care during the day but are able to return to their home in the evenings.
Q: What kind of activities do you provide?
A: We provide personalized care plans to ensure each individual has an option of what they want to do each day. We offer a broad range of daily activities to choose from, but each individual can choose freely to participate in any activity of their choice. We offer activities such as outings, bowling, shopping, eating at various restaurants, trips to seasonal festivals and farmers markets, and so much more! Check out our

Q: Do you administer medication at your facility?
A: Yes, our Director of Nursing and her staff of nurses administer medication.
Q: How much does your adult day care program cost?
A: New Generations charges $60.00 a day for adult day care services and $15.00 a day if transportation is needed. If the individual that attends is approved by Medicaid, then Medicaid will pay for all services.
Q: How can I pay for your services?
A: The various ways to pay for our adult day care services include Medicaid, Private Pay, Long-Term Care Insurance, State vouchers and VA.
Q: Are meals provided?
A: A USDA-approved lunch and 2 snacks a day are included in the cost of the program. We also follow any dietary restrictions your loved one may have.
Q: Who is eligible to attend?
A: Anyone who is 18 years or older may attend. We will be able to answer all of your specific eligibility questions if you give us a call at 1-843-773-2781.
Q: Can electric wheelchairs be used at the facility?
A: Yes, electric wheelchairs are permitted.
Q: Do you enroll people who require oxygen during the day?
A: Yes, if your loved one requires oxygen we are able to accommodate.
Q: We live outside of your Service Areas. Can my loved one still attend?
A: If you live outside of our specified
Service Area, it is still possible your loved one may be able to attend our facility. There are some restrictions through the Medicaid waiver, but we will be able to answer all of your individual questions if you call our number at 1-843-773-2781.

Special Needs Services
When it comes to special needs care, we do things a little differently at New Generations. Our Gary’s Gang program is directed towards all levels of learning disabilities and focuses on the independence, self-esteem, and growth of each member. View some of our special needs day care FAQs:
Q: What kind of activities do you provide?
A: We begin with personalized care plans for each individual that attends and set up our activities based on the care plan. We offer multiple activities each day and a participant may choose to participate in any of the activities available. Some examples include dancing, seasonal craft activities, trips to a farm, bowling, cookie baking, trips to the mall, movie days, and so much more. Check out our

Q: Who is eligible to attend?
A: Anyone who is 18 years or older and meets the criteria. If you’d like to know more about the criteria, please don’t hesitate to call us at 1-843-773-2781.
Q: How much does your special needs program cost?
A: If the individual who desires to attend is on Medicaid, then Medicaid will cover the entire costs. If the individual is a private pay client, adult day care services are $60.00 per day and $15.00 for transportation. We can provide more details about pricing at our main number (1-843-773-2781).

Q: Why is your special needs program called Gary’s Gang?
A: Gary’s Gang was inspired by the founder’s son who was autistic. We opened in 1998 and since that time, our Gary’s Gang members have been treated like family.
