Who We Are
New Generations is a family-owned and managed business founded by Gail Belissary and her daughter Karen Belissary. We opened our adult day care center in 1998 with a mission to improve and enhance the quality of life of each of our clients. When we began, we had 4-5 clients in eight counties, but we grew quickly as our reputation for quality care spread. Today, we serve hundreds of clients in 18 counties and are one of the largest operators of adult day centers in the state, with caregiver facilities in Florence and Marion, South Carolina.
What We Do
Our company focuses on elderly and special needs individuals who may need some extra care during the day. We understand that caring for a loved one can take a toll on family members, which is why we provide adult day care services that can give you a much-needed break in addition to benefits for your loved one.
At New Generations, we have two adult day care programs in Florence and Marion, SC that offer daily support and allow your loved one to return home in the evening. In both our elderly and special needs caregiver programs, we take the time to understand exactly what it is that your loved one needs. Our adult day care center then develops a regimen that offers one-on-one care as well as an array of activities to stimulate their mental and physical well-beings. But most of all, we work to enhance your loved one’s self-esteem and help them maintain their sense of independence.
